He is an active researcher in the fields of sensors and measurements, stochastic signal processing and acoustics. In particular, he has dealt with non-destructive testing for machine elements in electromechanical systems, as well as, electroacoustical system characterization with wavelets. Some of the techniques he developed are used in commercial testing systems for loudspeaker measurements and measurement of the acoustic properties of closed spaces.

Since 1997 he has been a lecturer at the TEI of Thessaly, teaching courses related to sensor technology, signal processing and communications.

He has published a number of scientific and technical articles in prestigious international journals in the areas of measurement technology, acoustics and stochastic signal processing.

Professionally, he has been involved in electroacoustic systems design, noise control, professional loudspeaker design and the design of audio electronic devices.
