·         2002: PhD in Wildlife Ecology and Management. Thesis: “Ecology and Conservation of Black-crowned Night-heron [Nycticorax nycticorax nycticorax (L., 1758)] at the Kerkini Reservoir, Macedonia, Greece  carried out and defended at the Department of Range & Wildlife   Management, School of Forestry & Natural Environment, Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece.

·         1992: University Diploma in Forestry and Natural Environment (School of Forestry & Natural Environment, Department of Range & Wildlife   Management, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece).

  • Handy with field and laboratory techniques on wildlife ecology and management
  • Very experienced in informatics with most types of software
  • Traveled, lectured and carried out research all over Greece
  • Coordinator of four major research subjects: migration of turdidae (Tudrus sp.), migration of wildfowl in several wetlands, management of corvidae in suburban areas, and ecology and management of Brown hare (Lepus europaeus) in burned areas.

  • Author of articles in several Greek nature-conservation popularized periodicals
